Hello, Salem!

Thoughts as we start another new weekend:

Am I the only one for whom the days just seem to blur together? There’s no real difference for me from a weekday to a weekend, but I’m still glad when the weekend arrives. Old habits die hard.

What old habits do you have that you can’t shake? What new habits have you made in the past year that will continue?

I suspect I’ll continue to use hand sanitizer more than I did pre-COVID. Masks have become routine; I’m not sure I’ll want to give them up, at least for a while.

It looks like tomorrow will be a great day. Whatever you do, enjoy the weekend, but please stay safe, and always, be kind.

~Bonnie

  1. Bonnie, I have eaten too much especially ice cream.
My husband and I start our morning with our Pastor’s Fast Five, a short five minute study of scripture. We go to the Rock Chuch in Sandown,NH with pastoe ,Steve Murrey.
We also use Zoom to visit our son in Colorado.

    1. Thanks for sharing, Connie. I had some thyroid issues 1.5 years ago. My diet was changed, and I lost 30 pounds. I’m disappointed that I haven’t lost any more, but I’m thrilled that I haven’t gained any during COVID. My husband is doing my diet most of the time (no gluten, no dairy), and he has continued to lose weight. The highlight of every two weeks is a Zoom call with my daughter and granddaughter, both sisters, and usually 3 nieces and one grand-niece. I think we’ve grown closer during COVID!
