COVID-19 Update October 3

COVID-19 Update October 3

  • Total: 339 confirmed cases in Salem
  • 1 out of every 87 Salem residents have been infected
  • Salem Today: 2 new cases, 10 active cases

I have now done a daily update – every single day – for HALF A YEAR!

Today is 258 days since the first US case, 216 days since the first NH confirmed case and 183 days since I started doing updates. Who dreamed it would last this long back then? Certainly not me!

• • • • • • TODAY’S SPOTLIGHT • • • • • •

  • Today we have two more Salem residents with new confirmed cases. Salem has added 16 new cases this week. We had no new cases in the week before this.
  • The State’s School Dashboard is still showing that there is a student at Woodbury Middle School. WMUR has reported that there is a student at Peter Woodbury (Elementary) School in Bedford. I believe the school dashboard is in error.
  • Antigen testing:
    • Yesterday the state reported antigen test results, and said they would start including them in our numbers.
    • The dashboard shows PCR test results, but there is no record of antigen tests.
    • It is possible that antigen test results are included with the PCR results, but, without further info, that is unknown.

Well!!! I hope your day was better than mine! My website was hacked. It was down for a few hours today but it’s fine now – thanks to the help from my friend. However, it has caused a little extra stress, which I didn’t need right now.

To those who tried to see the full report today, I apologize for the unavoidable inconvenience.

Don’t be like my website! Protect yourself. YOU know how to do it. Stay safe, and always, be kind.
