COVID-19 Update October 6
- Total: 342 confirmed cases in Salem
- 1 out of every 86 Salem residents have been infected
- Salem Today: 2 new cases over the past 2 days, 8 active cases

- DHHS never updated the info, so we don’t know what happened on Monday.
- Salem has two more new residents with confirmed infections than we had on Sunday.
- Sandown has had their 50th resident to be confirmed with COIVD-19.
- Nashua was down to 3 active cases on September 8. They now have 8 active cases, adding 11 from yesterday and today.
- No new patients been hospitalized since September 29. On that date, NH had 13 people hospitalized. Over the past week the number of patients has gone up to 23. Today’s is back down to 20. (People are being hospitalized, released, and then readmitted.)
- Four people have died from COVID-19 in the last three days.
- 71 schools have had kids infected at a school function since August 1. Currently there are 42 schools with at least one student with an active infection, for a total of 92 kids. That’s five more schools, eight more schools with active cases, and 8 more kids with infections … in just two days.
